heard some guys over talking at work today that they were shutting down coeburn and wise's theatres

My biggest problem with Norton is that I was watching a movie and I could distinctly hear the train blowing by. Quite a pain in the ass.

Ive gotta couple friends that work up at Coeburn they havent said anything about that one, but Wise is already closed.

Coeburn is suppose to stay open as a budget theatre from everthing I've been told by the movie people

They've changed Coeburn to $3 movies already. I've not heard any word of Coeburn closing though, although I think that was the original plan.

the original plan was to keep Wise as the budget theatre but they had the lease in Coeburn they couldn't get out of or something like that and the one in Wise was up this year. They had already started stripping the sound system out of Coeburn when they ran into this problem is what they told me (if I got all the detailes right)

I know a lot of folks at the theater and I was never told by anyone that the Coeburn theater would close. I was always told that it would stay open as a bargain theater, which is also what the Coalfield reported numerous times.

They are taking debit/credit cards now. I get e-mails from them with the movie listings and Thursday e-mail said they now have debit/credit.
